The 8th annual Georges Awards 2010 took place on Wednesday 7 July 2010 at Ashton Cineworld. Media and Film studies students put on their best outfits to attend the ‘Oscar like’ ceremony and received awards for their outstanding work this year.

The students thoroughly enjoyed seeing their visual work projected onto the big screen, and the winners were honoured and proud to have their skills recognised. AS students discussed how they felt inspired by the work shown and are now more determined than ever to be nominated next year.
