A2 Students at Ashton Sixth Form College won’t be around for much longer, their last day of lessons will be Friday 27 May. Whilst many will currently be putting the final touches to coursework assignments others will be studying hard for their forthcoming exams.  Leavers assemblies have already taken place  in the Lecture Theatre, Principal Dr Janet Nevin took the opportunity to wish students well  for the future before introducing a performance of ‘Nicest Kids in Town’ from the musical, Hairspray.

Students were also shown a photo montage of images from their two years at Ashton Sixth Form and a video of goodbye messages from staff and students.  For those of you that weren’t able to make it to the assemblies we have uploaded these videos below.

I have had a brilliant time at ASFC. I have gained loads of confidence over the last two years at college and am going to miss being around to help all the new students with settling in!

Shezza (Sheridan Lewis), thank you for being an awesome teacher! You’re such an inspiration and you’re cool! All the best.

A shout out to all the Greasers – Frankii, Laura, Sophie, Alice, Samba, Brad, Karl, Lee, Julius. I love you! All the best with Uni, stay awesome!

I have had a fantastic two years at this college, met some great people. I would like to give great thanks to all the teachers for their help and support. I have gained great confidence since starting here. I would like to say to all my friends good luck, hope you get the results you want and have a great time at university.

Had some absolutely amazing times. These have been the best two years of our lives. We don’t want to leave!

Anne-Marie Isherwood, you are awesome! Thanks for everything, I won’t ask too many questions at uni!!
