Just before the Christmas/New Year break, over 20 students gathered together in the Geoff Higgins building for a special celebratory lunch with college Principal Dr Janet Nevin. Dr Nevin regularly asks teaching staff and tutors to nominate students they feel are deserving of special recognition to attend the lunch. Students are nominated for a variety of reasons from exemplar behaviour and high test scores to improved attendance and hard work in the face of adversity. The Principal praised the students for their individual nominations and congratulated the group on their hard work and effort both inside and out of college.
