After a recent inspection to renew our Investors in People (IIP) Bronze Award the College was encouraged to apply for Silver or even Gold IIP status.

The Gold  inspection was conducted by Graham Curtis of IIP and we  are proud to announce that Ashton Sixth Form College have been awarded the Investors in People Gold Award.

The accreditation is awarded to organisations that demonstrate a commitment to the learning and development of their employees and achieve best practice in people management.

Graham recently visited the college and spoke to staff about the IIP Assessment process as well as congratulating staff on gaining the Gold Award.

Commenting that Ashton Sixth Form is one of the best colleges he’s ever visited in terms of people management, Graham also noted that the college are possibly looking at applying to be an IIP Champion.
