The pair are being sponsored to eat three meals a day for the small sum of just £1.00. All the sponsorship money raised by Chris and Sam will go to the Manchester Central Food Bank. Assistant Principal, Chris Cox said “we wanted to raise the profile of the Food Bank and the amazing job they undertake with people experiencing difficulties. Sam and I decided that we would give up our take away coffees, our weekend wine and try to survive on daily meal menus amounting to no more than £1.00.”  By planning ahead, shopping thriftily and cutting out luxuries Chris and Sam hope to achieve their goal.
