Art Exhibition 2017
The Art Exhibition returned to Ashton Sixth Form College with outstanding results. Students, staff, parents, families and friends were invited to a private viewing of the Art Exhibition launch.
Work was on display from across the Art and Design subjects on offer at the college including 3D Design and Technology, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Photography and Textiles. The exhibition completely transformed the college's Costa area into a creative hub and the pieces and projects throughout the exhibition covered a wide range of genres and styles.
Annually, the Art Exhibition marks the culmination of all the hard work of the previous academic year. Building on their skills and enhancing their artistic and creative abilities, students excel at the Art Exhibition creating outstanding pieces that really show off their talents.
Alongside Ashton Sixth Form College's A-Level students, the extremely successful and talented Art Foundation students also presented their work.
Students gain invaluable experience in the run up to the Art Exhibition, working to a strict deadline and creating a display that accurately reflects their vision, while also getting the opportunity to present their work to the public.
For a limited time only, the Art Exhibition remained on display for visitors to explore the incredible work.
