Health and Social Care visit Bradford University

11 October 2017

Health and Social Care students recently visited Bradford University to learn more about the range of courses available to them after they leave Ashton Sixth Form College.

Health and Social Care is a full-time course at Ashton Sixth Form College providing students with the knowledge to succeed within the care sector. Students gain large amounts of work experience on work placements throughout the course, giving students practical hands-on experience alongside theoretical learning.

Following the completion of Health and Social Care courses, students progress to university, further education, apprenticeships or employment.

Trips such as this to Bradford University, allow students to learn about the range of university degrees on offer to them and speak with university providers in person. It also allows students to make more informed decisions about their destination after college, whether this may be university, apprenticeships or employment.
