ICT students currently studying vocational ICT, visited CodeNation in Manchester City Centre.

Visiting Code Nation allowed students to explore, learning more about the digital industry and the opportunities available to them throughout their studies and after they finish college. 

The day started with a welcome, followed by a Computer Science and Coding session that gave students a better understanding about how we use coding in day-to-day life, and the jobs that are available in the ever-changing and expanding industry.

Following this introduction, students learned more about Code Nation, a coding school that offer a range of courses in the sector. 

The event closed with advice and guidance on how to get ahead, through work experience, innovative thinking and being creative.
