D of E students explore Winsford

Duke of Edinburgh Award students at Ashton Sixth Form College have been extremely busy recently working towards the final stretch of the Gold Award.
This time, their training took them to Winsford Flash, a series of lakes along the River Weaver in Cheshire.
Students at Ashton Sixth Form College have the opportunity to work towards the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. The aim of the award is to push boundaries, allowing young individuals to meet new people and work together as a team.
