City Football Coaching students learn MMA
Second year students currently studying Sport and Football Coaching visited Viva Combat.
The gym is based in Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside and specialises in Mixed Martial Arts, Kickboxing, Submission Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
During their visit, second year students were able to try their hand at Mixed Martial Arts. They were shown some of the basic techniques and disciplines to the sport. The students who were involved are studying a full-time vocational course at Ashton Sixth Form College. Alongside their classroom based studies, students also gain the practical experience to set them apart.
