Aleya Warden returned to Ashton Sixth Form College to support current Music Production students.

From 2016-2018, Aleya studied Music Production at Ashton achieving the highest grades possible, D*D*D*. She began her early education at Great Academy Ashton before starting her level 3 vocational course. 

During her studies, Aleya was always passionate about music and performing. She was often singing at almost every college event, at Lunchtime LIVE performances, or at the annual Music Festival, as well as any event she could get to outside of college too. Her dedication to her studies and her craft, meant that she successfully gained a place a LIPA (The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts) to study Music and Songwriting. During her visit to the college, Aleya spoke about how much she has been enjoying her university experience so far.

Returning to Ashton just over a year later, Aleya was able to share her experiences with current students. She understood firsthand what students were currently experiencing and was able to help them. As part of their course, students have many opportunities to record and learn how to operate the recording studio. Aleya was able to act as the artist in the recording booth, giving students real life experience of working with somebody new and having to communicate during a recording session. Aleya recorded different elements of the track, helping student to build up a recording from scratch and to understand the entire process.
