Addleshaw Goddard visit Law students to talk work experience
Law students were recently visited by corporate law firm, Addleshaw Goddard.
Addleshaw Goddard is a global firm employing over 1,200 lawyers with clients in 94 countries across the world (www.addleshawgoddard.com).
Students at Ashton Sixth Form College who want to progress on to a future career in the law sector have the incredible opportunity to complete their work experience with the firm.
This first meeting was Addleshaw Goddard's opportunity to meet the students and set out their expectations for not only the placement but also the application form. Due to the high quality of this placement, the competition for places is tough and students need to ensure that they stand out and show commitment. Following the session, students will complete their applications and submit them to the firm.
Students who successfully pass the application process will spend time with the company on work experience at their Manchester offices in St. Peter's Square.
Work experience opportunities such as this allow students to make informed decisions about their futures and also ensures that they have the best chance to succeed in the future when applying for university or apprenticeships.
