May I start this by saying thank you? I have received a large number of emails from parents/guardians/carers over the past few days praising the work our staff are doing to support your sons and daughters through this difficult time. There is universal respect for their dedication and hard work; I know a lot of the work goes unseen, particularly at the moment, but I wanted to say, on behalf of all members of staff, that your words are appreciated by all of us.

It's been a relatively quiet day today with no significant announcements nor updates. We still have no further information on the mechanism for the awarding of grades for A level, GCSE and BTEC at both level two and three. We will circulate this information once we have it.

Today we began our interviews for new members of staff. The technology worked well and we have been able to make some great appointments today. More on this to follow once we have a more detailed picture.
