Three Music students successfully gain places at LIPA
Ashton Sixth Form College are extremely proud to share the news that three Music students have gained a place at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts specialises solely in Performing Arts degrees, ensuring that the students who study there are surround by individuals who share similar passions and are dedicated to carving their career in the creative industries. The Institute was founded in 1996 by Sir Paul McCartney (of The Beatles) and Sir Mark Featherstone-Witty (founder of the Brit School).
Ben Gee, from Stockport Grammar School, studied Music Technology, English Literature and Psychology. He will study a degree in Songwriting and Production at LIPA.
XL student Callum Lewis, from Audenshaw School, studied a full time vocational courses in Music Production. He is progressing on to study Sound Technology at LIPA.
Max Burton (below), from West Hill School, studied Music Technology, ICT and Sociology. He will now go on to study a degree in Sound Technology at LIPA.
