Dear student/parent,

I am writing to inform you that we will be continuing our system of Week A and Week B after the half term and up until the Christmas holidays. This decision has been made in light of the very high COVID transmission rates in the north west and Greater Manchester in particular. Given this, we cannot have our whole college community on-site at once; nor can we teach in full classes without social distancing measures. The Week A/B system is working for us (although some tweaks may be needed to improve it further), and where we do have COVID positive cases, the bubbles we need to close (and ask to self-isolate) are very small. 

We will let you know if any small adjustments are to be made to our current way of working, but wanted to let you know at the earliest opportunity that the system we have been operating will continue.

Just a reminder that we break up for half term at the end of the day on Wednesday 21st October and we return on Monday 2nd November. The week beginning 2nd November will be Week A.
