Four students join the Oxnet Study Skills Day
Four students from Ashton Sixth Form College took part in the Oxnet Study Skills Day.
Students from Ashton joined young people from across the country, following a competitive application process. The event took place virtually and marks the start of the Oxnet programme for 2021. The programme will encourage students to develop their skills and understanding, taking part in degree-level lectures and seminars.
Oxnet is led by Pembroke College at the University of Oxford. Ashton Sixth Form College is proudly The Goldsmiths’ Sutherland Centre for Philosophy and World Religions and has been partnered on the programme for a number of years, building strong relationships, providing incredible opportunities for students.
Four students from @ashtonsixthform are joining students from across England for the virtual OxNet Study Skills Day, which marks the start of the intensive academic courses. They have done incredibly well to gain a place on the competitive outreach program! #ImagineYourFuture ✨ https://t.co/75d9oi3yiG
