Art student's animations explores music therapy
Louis is an artist through and through. He currently studies 3D Design, Graphic Design and Photography at Ashton Sixth Form College.
As part of the Graphic Design course, students are required to complete a major project and Louis has chosen to complete a range of animations for his project.
Louis has focused on producing animations for charities. Two of the ones that he has completed so far are for the Alzheimer's Society, a care and research charity for those with dementia, and the Trussell Trust food banks who are working to stop UK hunger and poverty.
His animation for Alzheimer's Society was posted online by his teacher and brother, already gaining over 3,000 views. The Alzheimer's Society also reached out, calling the animation "Beautiful!"
The animations produced by Louis are extremely heartfelt, and highlight how people's lives are truly affected by dementia or food poverty. His choice of charities also shed an important light on those charities that have been invaluable to communities throughout the pandemic.
Louis completed his high school education at Rayner Stephens High School.
