We are delighted to announce the high grades achieved by our BA (Hons) Education students. All of our students have done exceptionally well, and we are thrilled to recognise particularly high achievements including nine First Class Honours degrees.

Our Education degree programmes are designed for people currently employed in the field of education or aspiring to be so. Many learners completing these courses will pursue a career in teaching and progress onto a postgraduate teacher training programme. Both the Foundation degree in Education and the BA (Hons) in Education are work-based higher education programme designed to increase your knowledge and understanding of learning and teaching. This programme is offered in our HE centre in partnership with Staffordshire University.

"During my three years studying at Ashton Sixth Form College, I have experienced both face-to-face teaching and online teaching due to COVID-19. Both have been brilliant. The tutors will go the extra mile to help you find resources, answer questions, and provide feedback to help you succeed.  I am now due to begin a master's degree in the autumn and my BA(Hons) Education degree will help me fulfil my dream of becoming a teacher."

As we reach closer to November, graduation looms. Graduation is the highlight at the end of higher education and we are delighted to announce that if COVID restrictions remain lifted, Staffordshire University will be hosting the graduation ceremony in Stoke-On-Trent in November and we are very much looking forward to it.

We wish the Class of 2020/2021 all the best while they wait patiently to celebrate together in November.
