2 boards and a Passion theatre company visits drama students
Local theatre company, 2 Boards and A Passion have visited Ashton Sixth Form College this week to work predominantly with our first-year drama students.
2 Boards and A Passion provide entertainment and education and aim to broaden awareness and enjoyment of theatre and the arts.
Students have been exploring different styles, such as Expressionism in a practical setting.
The workshops this week will prepare the students for performing an expressionist piece of devised theatre, which will be based on Machinal by Sophie Treadwell - one of the set texts students study during the course.
2 Boards and A Passion have also worked with the second year drama students. They delivered a performance skills workshop in preparation for their first performance exam in the next few weeks!
Students and staff have thoroughly enjoyed working with 2 Boards and A Passion this week and found their workshops a helpful and exciting addition to their studies on the Drama course.
