Second year student, Marina Dote studies Spanish, Geography and Biology here at Ashton.

Marina recently entered the University of Sheffield's 2022 Spanish Translation Competition and won! The competition runs annually and is open to students who study Spanish in Years 12 and 13. 

The competition entails participants translating an original Spanish text has not yet previously been published, into English. 

Marina was one out of ten winners - an amazing achievement, Well Done Marina!
