A2 Politics students take a trip to Downing Street
A2 Politics students had a fantastic trip to London, visiting key areas studied as part of their UK Politics A Level paper.
The trip really brought politics ‘alive’ for those involved. Students visited the UK Supreme Court, the Houses of Parliament where students experienced a tour of the building, witnessed the House of Commons and House of Lords in a live debate session and also took part in a debating workshop.
The tour also included a thrilling visit to the Downing Street steps! A great time was had by all students involved, who were exemplary throughout. The trip has inspired many students to seek a career in politics – watch this space!
