Six Ashton Sixth Form College students join 2023 OxNet programme.
Six students from Ashton Sixth Form College have secured a place on the 2022/23 OxNet programme.
Following a competitive application process, our students on the programme will be joining other students from the North West and North East of England and London, throughout the programme. Students recently attended the first in-person event, Study Skills Day 2023. Students had the opportunity to meet others on the programme, participate in subject lectures, work on academic study skills with Dr Claus and lots more!
Each student are enrolled on to one of the five academically intensive courses: Philosophy and World Religions, Humanities and Social Sciences, English, Languages or Science.
OxNet is led by Pembroke College at the University of Oxford. Ashton Sixth Form College is proudly The Goldsmith's Sutherland Centre for Philosophy and World Religions and has been partnered with the programme for a number of years, building strong relationships and providing incredible opportunities for students.
In the upcoming months, students will participate in more activities, including online seminars and a week spent in Oxford for Access Week!
Congratulations to our six students enrolled on the programme.
