During half term, our Gold Duke of Edinburgh students completed their Gold practice expedition in the Yorkshire Dales to prepare for their upcoming Qualifying expedition in July. All students had an amazing time, with the sun on their side!

Our students underwent a number of training sessions leading up to their expedition. Here, they worked in teams to successfully prepare meals, set up tents, take care of each other and complete the route over 3 days.

Alongside, our students are working hard towards completing their Gold sections in order to complete their award. They cover Volunteering, physical and skills where they complete their chosen activities each week for up to 18 months. Hard working and committed are the key attributes of our DofE students and we are very proud of their accomplishments.

We look forward to celebrating future achievements with completing sections and their Qualifying expedition!
