Business student secures degree apprenticeship with KPMG
Nicole Gavaza, from Oldham Hulme Grammar School, has been offered a top degree apprenticeship with global accountancy firm, KPMG.
Nicole currently studies Business, Mathematics and Geography at Ashton Sixth Form College.
Back in October, Nicole participated in KPMG's Discovery work experience programme, which allowed her to gain an insight into how KPMG work and enhance her future application to the company. After the Discovery programme, Nicole knew she wanted to begin her career with KPMG in a consulting role.
Once the companies apprenticeship applications opened in November, Nicole applied and completed the first two stages of the application process which included immersive and video assessments. She was then invited to the assessment centre in London, where she took part in a group interview and a one to one interview with a senior partner of the company.
Since the face to face interview, Nicole has received an offer to begin on their Level 7 Consulting Apprenticeship for post-college! Her role will include working closely with clients, whilst undertaking qualifications in level 4 junior management consulting and the ACA - the charted accountant qualification.
A huge well done to Nicole for her achievement, we wish her the best of luck in her role and exams in the summer!
