University offers have been coming in thick and fast for students at Ashton Sixth Form College. Whether conditional or unconditional this is an important, exciting and nerve-racking time for those who wish to continue their studies at a higher level.

For three students it has been especially significant, they have been waiting to hear from Oxford and Cambridge for what could be potentially life-changing offers. Getting into the country’s top institutions involves a lot of hard work and the drive to achieve the highest grades possible at A-level. Student Council Vice President Sam Thomas has been offered a place at St John’s College Oxford to read French with Italian.

Michael Su has been offered a place at Sydney Sussex College, Cambridge  to study Maths.

Ben Fox has been offered a place at Churchill College, Cambridge to study Maths with Physics.
