Making Christmas Wishes Come True

Students from the Health and Social Care and Early Years departments have been raising funds and sponsorship for the Christmas Shoe Box appeal and Key 103 Mission Christmas which last year delivered over £1.3 million worth of gifts to over 32,000 children in Greater Manchester

This year’s fancy dress theme was ‘chocolate bars’ and the students have been hard at work creating their costumes over the last couple of weeks. Through sponsorship of the fancy dress and collecting donations around college the students have already raised over £1200 with more still to come!

“The funds we have raised will make a real difference locally and on other continents, providing gifts for children who might otherwise get nothing” Phoebe Saxon-Travis

“I really enjoyed making my costume and raising money in college, it wasn’t hard to do and really will have a positive impact on the children who receive our gifts” Amy Bertenshaw
