The men's football team faced Clitheroe Royal Grammar in the North West College's semi-final. Following a hat-trick from Elliot Fenton, Ashton Sixth Form College won the game 3-2. 

Winning the semi-final means the team progress on to the final of the league cup next week. 

The men's football team have been outstanding throughout the entire season and nearing the end they have another opportunity to win a cup.

The final of the North West Colleges Playoffs will take place in Oldham at the Vestacare Stadium on Wednesday 9th May.
