Economists take part in the Manchester Investment Challenge
Economics students visited the trading floor at Manchester University Business School to take part in the Manchester Investment Challenge.
180 year 12 students from across the North West were invited to the Manchester Business School in June to compete in the Investment Challenge across two days. The aim of the challenge was to enhance students' skills in finance and improve business awareness.
Students were set a task and worked in pairs throughout the day, developing their skills in problem solving, time management and team work.
Luke Power and Gabriel Onibudo of Ashton Sixth Form College, came in 2nd place out of all of the students attending the day - an incredible achievement.
