Students from Ashton Sixth Form College took part in the first ever Bolton Sixth Form College Debating Competition. 

Ali, Hira and Hina represented the college and presented their arguments on a range of topics.

Each student has shown tremendous dedication, working in their own time and often after college to practice their debates and pull together their arguments. Most recently, students gave up their time during the half-term to work on their speeches. 

The students work was recognised and they were crowned the winners of the Debating Competition 2019.
