Firstly, please pass on our thanks to your sons and daughters for all their hard work over the past week. We are now at the end of the first week of remote working, and they are engaging well. Today we had 853 direct access requests to our servers, up from 827 the previous day, which provides evidence of their commitment.

Thank you if you participated in the applause for NHS workers yesterday. Many former students work for the NHS and are working hard to protect and support all of us; they deserve our respect and thanks.

There is no new information today to pass on to you. Spend some time looking after yourselves and your families over the weekend and I’ll be back in touch on Monday.
