Football Coaching students and staff take part in the Blue Run
On Sunday, Manchester City hosted their annual charity Blue Run At Home.
Football Coaching students and staff from Ashton Sixth Form College took part in the run.
The length of the run and where it took place, was down to the individual. But together, they were all raising money for "CITC’s new Cityzens Giving for Recovery project, which harnesses the power of football to support mental well-being in people aged 14-25" (www.mancity.com).
It was also a fantastic opportunity for students and staff to get out and get active, while raising money for a great cause.
The Football Coaching course at Ashton is delivered in partnership with Manchester City's City in the Community, giving them unique access to highly trained coaches and teachers, facilities and experiences.
