Ashton Sixth Form College Dance students worked with former student, Vanessa Murphy-Wood.

Vanessa achieved a D* in Performing Arts at Ashton in 2013, after completing her early education at Rayner Stephens High School. 

Vanessa is the successful co-owner of Tycoons Allstars and has represented England 3 times at the ICU World Championships held in America. Following her ongoing success Vanessa returned to college to share her expertise and experiences with our current dance students and lead a Specialist Street Dance Workshop. The students thoroughly enjoyed learning the style and working with Vanessa.

Current dance students Abbie said,

It was a very fast paced workshop and I enjoyed dancing in a style I’m not used to. The choreography was challenging but differentiated for abilities.
