Ashton Sixth Form College had the privilege to host Ashton Grammar School's big reunion recently.

From 1928 to 1980, Ashton Grammar School was based where ASFC is now on Darnton Road. The main building of our campus is what was originally the grammar school!

After months of planning, former students and staff put together an amazing reunion that took place at the start of July. 

It was a lovely occasion, where guests caught up with old friends, colleagues and teachers, and reminisced with a walk through tour of the main building. Each room was decorated to represent a different decade.

The rooms ran from the 1920's all through to the 1980's. Memorabilia was donated by the grammar school's alumni. 

The day was a huge turn out! It was lovely to see former staff and students remembering fond memories of their time at Ashton Grammar School and to have a look back on the history of our college.
