This week, The Widening Participation Fair returned to Ashton.  

Widening Participation aims to help level the playing field for students who may face barriers progressing into Higher Education, apprenticeships or certain career paths. The Fair showcased various "Access Schemes" and "Widening Particiption initiatives" to support students in Year 12 and 13 with their next steps.

The event enabled students to gain an insight into additional opportunities, ask questions to a number of education providers and start thinking about what they might want do do after college. Exhibitors came from across the country, including:
