Philosophy and World Religions students have recently completed their 6-session seminar series as part of the OxNet 2023 programme.

Students have explored various topics on 'The Challenge of Religion: Problems and Solutions in a Time of Global Crisis.'

This included seminars on

• Conspiracy Theory and Religion
• Global Christianity: Nigerian Pentecostalism
• Is Christianity an Ecological Disaster?
• Theorising Gender and Religion: Islam and Women's Rights
• Secularism and it's limits
• The Godless Crusade: Religions and Right-Wing Populism in Western Europe

Through an interdisciplinary approach, the seminar series allows students to work closely with academics leading in their field and discuss their thoughts on various topics each week.

The programme really does treat you like an undergraduate and gives you the tools to quickly pick up how tto work at that level even during your first year of college. OxNet is an amazing way to get a taste of what overall undergraduate study is going to be like and to prepare yourself.
