Before the end of the academic year, our second year BTEC students on the Football Coaching with City in the Community attended a celebration event!
The event was held at the Tunnel Club, Etihad Stadium. Both students and staff celebrated the completion of the course and their studies!
The students who participated and completed the course are:
- Mamadu Badjo
- Cole Beard
- Joe Bradbury
- Adam Buckley
- Adam Garlick
- Charlie Gibson
- Lasana Jabateh
- Tom Kuczaj
- Joe Orgill
- Harrison Stopford
These students were all awarded with a small trophy to recognise their achievement.
The following awards were also handed out:
- ASFC Coaches Player award - Cole Beard
- ASFC Tutors Award - Adam Buckley
- ASFC Players Player - Charlie Gibson
Tom Kuczaj was nominated and awarded the CITC Outstanding Achievement Award. Tom enrolled onto the Football Coaching course in 2020, yet had to take time out last year. He faced issues with his physical health but always remained positive and engaged in his studies. He has excelled this year and it is a huge achievement for him completing the course this year and win this award, who was open to all students on the course across four colleges! His teachers are inspired and proud of Tom's dedication to his studies and wish him the best for his future plans.
Students and staff had a lovely afternoon celebrating each other, along with lots of food and amazing views of Manchester City's ground!
Well done all and a huge good luck for the future.
