Summer started early for both Law and Philosophy, Religion and Ethics students, as they traveled to Barcelona in the north eastern region of Spain. 

Over 30 students boarded the plane to spend a few days exploring the city. 

During their trip, students visited the Sagrada Familia which was designed by Catalan artist Antoni Gaudi and began construction in 1882, 136 years ago. At the time students visited the Roman Catholic church, the site was 70% complete and is set to be finished in the next 8 years. They also visited Font màgica de Montjuïc, a spectacular fountain display of lights, colour and music.

Over the few days, students also visited Las Ramblas and the beach. They took in some of the enriched culture too, trying Spanish food and attending a Flamenco Show.

Annually, Philosophy, Religion and Ethics collaborate with the Law department to take students on a European trip. Students are able to apply their learning within the classroom to real life situations internationally.
